Agriculture students visit KVK Kanker

Bhilai, Oct 28: Under the National Entrepreneurship Awareness Development Scheme, the students of BSc Final Year from Chhattisgarh Agricultural College, Dhanora visited Krishi Vigyan and Research Center (KVK) Kanker. They got detailed information about various researches going on in Krishi Vigyan Kendra.
They received information about duck farming under integrated farming system which is very beneficial and profitable for small farmers. Apart from this, information about quail rearing and mushroom production and the interesting subjects of the students like lac, such as production, types, how it is used and processed and complete information related to marketing was given to the students by soil science expert Komal Singh Keram.
Principal S Rai and coordinator Vivek Pandey expressed their gratitude to the head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra and program coordinator Dr Birbal Sahu for successfully conducting this educational tour.
