Agriculture Minister visits hospital to meet injured soldiers

Raipur, Mar 28: Agriculture and Water Resources Minister Ravindra Choubey reached Ramakrishna Care Hospital, Raipur to know the health of injured soldiers in Naxalite incident in Narayanpur and wished for their speedy recovery. Agriculture Minister Choubey also encouraged the soldiers by applauding their bravery after getting information about the incident. To see the injured jawans, the Director General of Police, D.M. Awasthi and Additional Director General of Police Ashok Juneja were also present along with the Minister. According to the instructions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Choubey discussed the treatment of jawans with the doctors of the hospital and instructed to provide better medical facilities to the jawans. It is known that the DRG force personnel were returning to the district headquarters Narayanpur after an anti-Naxal operation in Narayanpur. During this, five soldiers were killed in an IED blast on Kanhargaon-Kadenar road. In this incident, two soldiers were seriously injured and 12 other soldiers received minor injuries. The injured jawans were brought to Raipur in the evening by an Indian Air Force helicopter for treatment.
