Shops to remain open till 6 o’clock in the evening

Raipur, Apr 03: Amidst surge in the Covid 19 cases, the District Administration on Saturday issued fresh guidelines related with the opening and closing of the commercial shops and outlets within the District. Above orders would come in effect from April 4 onwards in the District.
As per the order issued by the District Collector Dr S Bharatidashan, all types of shops, Shopping Malls, Departmental Stores and Commercial Institutions would remaining from 6 o’clock in the morning till 6 o’clock in the evening. However, the Restaurants and Hotels would be allowed to continue Dinning services, Take Away ad Home Delivery of food items till 8 o’clock in the evening.
Only petrol pump and medical stores would be exempted from the above restrictions imposed by the administration. All the Weekly Markets too would remain closed in urban areas whereas Eateries in and around Telibandha, Budhatalab and other spots too would be allowed to continue functioning till 6 o’clock in the evening. Last show of the cinemas in Multiplex would be allowed only till 8 ‘clock whereas Country and Foreign Liquor outlets too would remain closed by 6 o’clock in the evening. At the same time the District Administration has also directed to close down all the Gym and Swimming Pools till next orders.
All the Shopkeepers, employees have been asked to follow Covid protocol behaviour as the district has been witnessing rise in Corona Virus cases.
Sub Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), City Magistrate, CSP, SDOP and Tehsildars have been directed to make regular visit to their respective area of jurisdiction.
