Addl GM SECR inspects Bilaspur rly station

Bilaspur, Oct 16: The Addl. GM SECR Vijay Pratap Singh conducted inspection of Bilaspur Railway Station on Wednesday and held meeting with DRM Alok Sahay and Upper DRM Vedish Dhuvare at DRM’s meeting hall. During inspection of Bilaspur Railway Station, DRM Alok Sahay, Sr. Div. Commercial Manager (Coordination) Pulkit Singhal, Sr. Div. Electrical Engineer (Rolling stock/ gen.) Aniranjan Prasad, Div. Commercial Manager Suskar Vipul Vilasrao and other officials of Division were present.
During inspection of the Bilaspur Railway Station, Addl. GM SECR VP Singh conducted inspection of development works under its redevelopment. He inspected the progress in the escalator and foot-over-bridge being constructed near Gate No. 1. Then he inspected the passenger’s waiting room in the platform premises and took stock of facilities available. Apart from this he also checked about the ‘fish-pedicure’ and ‘face-treatment’ facilities for convenience of the passengers to remove the travelling pressure and tiredness and praised the same.
During this he also inspected crew lobby and checked the facilities being provided to the employees and the arrangements being made. During the inspection he also held talks with the ‘Swachchata Praharis’ in the trains and station premises and boosted their morale and gave suggestions for improvement. He also gave necessary instructions to the officers present.
During the inspection in the station, he held meeting with DRM Alok Sahay and Upper DRM Vedish Dhuvare and branch officers at the DRM’s meeting room. In the meeting Upper GM was presented a power-point-presentation (PPP) about the progress in various ongoing works, achievements, projects and various schemes of the railways.
Upper GM conducted serious review of all the projects and works and gave necessary instructions to concerned officers. He also held talks with DRM and other officers about progress in sanctioned works of the division; facilities to passengers; loading and on issues related to that of employees. He asked the officers of concerned department to complete all the sanctioned work within stipulated time and on priority basis.
