Actor Ashutosh Rana praises Chhattisgarh Film Policy

Raipur, Sept 20: Culture Minister, Amarjit Bhagat gave a clap shot for actors Ajay Devgn and Ashutosh Rana starrer ‘Six Suspects’ web series at the Chhattisgarh Assembly premises here today. Bhagat was courted by film actor Ashutosh Rana and producer-director of the web series Tigmanshu Dhulia. The minister gave detailed information about the new film policy prepared in Chhattisgarh. Actor Ashutosh Rana appreciated the film policy of Chhattisgarh.
During the meeting with the Culture Minister, actor Ashutosh Rana told that the shooting for this web series would be done for the next three-four days in different places of Chhattisgarh. About 50 artists of Chhattisgarh will be seen in the role of MLA and MP In this web series.
Pratik Gandhi, who played the lead role in the film based on Harshad Mehta and Vineet are playing important roles in this web series. During the meeting, many film actors, artists and people associated with film production from Chhattisgarh including Principal Secretary, Chhattisgarh Assembly Secretariat, Chandrashekhar Gangrade and Director of Culture and Archeology Department, Vivek Acharya were present.
Culture Minister Bhagat, during his meeting with film actor Ashutosh Rana, told that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, a new film policy was formulated in Chhattisgarh to promote the film industry in the state and to encourage film artists and technicians associated with film production. There are many beautiful places full of natural beauty in Chhattisgarh, where film shooting can be done, he said, assuring full cooperation from the state government to the producers coming from other states for film production in the state.
Culture Minister Bhagat informed that the film policy of Chhattisgarh had been prepared after studying the film policies in other states. Provisions have been made in the new film policy to provide work to the actors, artists, technicians etc. associated with the film production in Chhattisgarh. Provision has also been made in the film policy to provide grants of Rs 1 crore and 5 crore for Chhattisgarhi films winning national and international awards respectively.
