Abducted juvenile girl rescued from Raisen

Team of Anjora Chowki has successfully rescued an abducted juvenile girl from Raisen in Madhya Pradesh within five days. The girl was lured to flee from the house on the promise of marriage. The accused took her to Raisen and raped her at his place. Police have arrested the accused and booked him under the provisions mentioned in section 363, 366, 376, 376 (2) of IPC and Sections 4, 5, 6 of POCSO Act.
Anjora Chowki I/c Deosharan Singh Thakur informed that on the instructions of SP Prashant Agrawal and guidance of ASP (City) Sanjay Dhruw and CSP (Durg), they are handling the cases related with crime against women in a sensitive manner and are making efforts to take swift action on such cases. In this sequel, they received a complaint regarding a missing girl of village Mahmara (Anjora).
The girl was supposedly lured to flee from the house by a youth. A special team was constituted to search the juvenile girl and technical inputs were sought from the Cyber cell. On the basis of technical inputs and mobile phone location, a team was sent to the Industrial Area of Satlapur in Raisen (MP). The abducted girl was rescued safe and handed over to the parents. The accused was taken in custody and during interrogation, he confessed to have abducted and raped the minor girl. Head Constable Santosh Pandey, Constable Ghanita Sahu and Cyber Cell staff played a vital role in solving this case.
