60 % disabled teacher bags edu warrior award

Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, May 29: A 60 percent disabled Durga Tiwari bagged the Edu Warrior Award from Gujarat’s Edutour app for challenging the pandemic and conducting online classes without fail. The specially abled teacher has a big student following where her students themselves nominated her for Edu Warrior Award category.
According to one of her student Jhanvi Gupta, the ward winning teacher started her online classes via Google meet platform from the 23rd of June, 2020. Initially there were hiccups, but soon the teacher student combination teaching started earning results when many other students started joining her classes for online education. As a result of which she easily could maneuver the other wise considered difficult part of online education. According to Gupta, her online classes are also equipped with power point presentations, which are a big help for students who want to dig deep into the matter. And the subjects taught are not superficially touched but in-depth discussed and taught, which has resulted in an all round development of her students. A total of 74629 students have benefited from Tiwari’s 1376 classes from 23 June 2020 to 6 April 2021. Prior to this award, Durga Tiwari has also been nominated for many different awards, and she has won many of them. She has also won, ‘the best disabled teacher award of the state’ 3 times and ‘best teacher of the year award’ many times in district and block level.
