6 arrested under Arms Act

Raipur: A total of humidity causes discomfort six persons have been arrested under Arms Act during last 24-hours. The first one, identified as Shoaib Khan of Rotary Nagar in Amanaka, was arrested by Amanaka police from near his house after he was nabbed redhanded threatening a beetle shop owner armed with a knife.

The next one, identified as Gopi Sagar, was arrested by Kotwali police from near Nehru Nagar community hall after he was nabbed red-handed terrorising the locals armed with a knife. The third one, identified as Uday Singh Dhruv, was arrested by Pandri police from near liquor shop in Mowa after he was nabbed red-handed terrorising the locals armed with a knife.

The next one, identified as Sheikh Sajid, was arrested by Purani Basti police from Bandhwapara area after he was nabbed redhanded terrorising the locals armed with a knife. The fifth one, identified as Govind Sinha, was arrested by Ganj police from near Station Chowk after he was nabbed red-handed terrorising the locals armed with a knife.

All five of them were later booked under Section 25, 27 of Arms Act. The final one, identified as Mukesh Kumar Sahu, was arrested by Gudhiyari police from near Bharat Mata Chowk after he was nabbed roaming suspiciously in the area possessing a knife, an air gun and seven pallets. He was later booked under Section 25 of Arms Act.
