361 executives get promotion in BSP

Bhilai, Jul 02: On Friday, Bhilai Steel Plant management issued promotion orders for 361 executives. 204 officers have been promoted to the post of Manager, 44 officers to the post of Senior Manager and 113 to the post of Assistant General Manager. Expressing happiness over the promotion coverage given to the officers, SEFI described it as honorable and satisfying for the hardworking and brave officers.
SEFI President Narendra Kumar Banchhor congratulated and extended best wishes to all the promoted officers. SEFI President expressed hoped that the promoted officers will achieve many levels of progress in future as well as perform better in SAIL so that Maharatna Company can achieve new heights in its production, productivity and profits.
It needs to be mentioned here that promotions in this year have been decided on the basis of new promotion policy in which the eligibility has been raised further. SEFI President had raised the issue before SAIL Chairman during her recent visit to Bhilai.
At that time, the SAIL chairman had assured to increase the promotion coverage. The promotion coverage of 2021 has been better than the promotion coverage of previous years. SEFI expressed gratitude towards the Director-in-Charge and all the Executive Directors.
