Raipur: Acting on the directives of DGP DM Awasthi, IGP (Raipur range) and DIG and SSP (Raipur) on Wednesday arranged a visit for 230 assistant
constables from Bastar division to MM Fun City and Ambuja Mall in the capital.
According to information provided by capital police, this batch of 230 assistant constables were first taken to MM Fun City on Wednesday as part of a relaxation schedule following their grilling duty in Narayanpur and Bijapur districts during the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections in the
state. These assistant constables had provided immense logistical and tactical support to the visiting central forces which were deployed in the Naxal affected Bastar division of Chhattisgarh for ensuring peaceful polls in the state.
It was further informed that the entire batch of these assistant constables had come to the capital for the first time in their life and had no previous experience enjoying urban enjoyment and luxuries. Later in the evening, these assistant constables were taken to the Ambuja Mall for having another experience of urban enjoyment
