15 faculties from NIT- R featured in the top 2% World Scientists Ranking of Stanford University

National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur’s fifteen faculty members have been featured in the prestigious list of ‘World Ranking of Top 2% Scientists/Researchers’ released by the renowned Stanford University, USA for the year 2024. The list is prepared annually based on multiple parameters and indicators, using Scopus data provided by Elsevier through ICSR lab, in various fields of science and technology to inculcate and encourage the scientific prowess brewing in the minds of new age scientists and innovators.

Their recognition is a testament to their outstanding contributions in diverse fields of expertise. All the faculties in their respective departments, who achieved a commendable feat and brought great laurels to the institute.

Dr Dilip Singh Sisodia, Dr Pradeep Singh,Dr Govind Prasad Gupta, and Dr Bikesh Kumar Singh’s area of expertise includes Artificial Intelligence and Image Processing while Dr Rakesh Tripathi has mainly focused on Networking and Telecommunication. Dr Sachin Jain and Dr Rajan Kumar work in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Dr Anamika Yadav and Dr Prem Kumar Chourasiya work in the field of Energy. Dr Pratima Gupta works in the field of Microbiology and Dr Lata Sheo Bachchan Upadhyay in the field of Biotechnology. Dr Awanish Kumar has helped enrich the field of Pharmacology & Pharmacy. Dr Ayush Khare works in the field of Applied Physics and Dr Mohan Kumar Pradhan and Dr Sudip Kumar Sinha in the field of Materials.

The Institute is doing increasingly well in cultivating a vibrant research environment that fosters collaboration, experimentation and the exploration of novel ideas as is evident from the soaring spike witnessed in the number of illustrious young scientists from 13 last year to a significant 15 this year, who proved their mettle, stood their ground and eventually produced incredible results. Moreover, Dr. Anamika Yadav made it to the List of Top 2% Scientists for the fourth time in a row along with Dr. Dilip Singh Sisodia, Dr. Govind P. Gupta, Dr. Sachin Jain and Dr. Awanish Kumar who bagged their places for the third time, setting a pioneering example for the upcoming generations in the field of innovation and technology.
